Privacy
Browsing needs no account. We don’t store IP addresses, set advertising cookies or keep seller contact details. Here is everything we do keep, and why.
Draft. This notice describes how the prototype works today and still needs a legal review before launch.
When you open a listing, or follow a link to the site that published it, we record:
We use these counts to see which listings and markets people are interested in. We don’t record your IP address, and the records aren’t linked to a person.
We set two preference cookies, lang for your language and view for list or card layout, each kept for a year, and sid, a random code that counts one browser’s listing views and clicks once rather than many times. It isn’t linked to an account. There are no advertising cookies.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, searches, shares, and whether people install the app or create an account. Its cookies (_ga and _ga_…) keep a random ID for up to two years. Google Analytics doesn’t log or store IP addresses, and we’ve turned off Google signals and ad personalization, so none of it is used for advertising. We never send it your name, email or anything you type into a form. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out add-on.
If you sign in, a session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, with a short-lived copy that saves a lookup on each page. Signing out removes both.
You only need an account if you want one. When you create it we keep:
You can change your name or delete the account, and everything above with it, from the Account page.
We store what you enter (title, details, price, location and photos) to publish your listing. Phone numbers, emails and links aren’t accepted in titles or descriptions.
We keep listing prices over time, including price changes, to build market statistics such as medians, price per perch and trends. These are about property and vehicles, not about people.
